Good start Kayleigh! Why do you think people need to be in contact all the time? Are we becoming more impatient as technology allows us to be in touch constantly?
Good post Kayleigh - with relevant comments in reply. Still wonder if this makes people impatient though... for many the first thing they do when on the computer is log in to FB. Is this about knowing what's going on with friends right away, all the time?
I think part of the reason could be because people want to know what there friends are up too most of the time, I think this could also be the reason that most people log onto face book as soon as they get onto a computer.
But i also think that there too lazy to actually have a conversation with who ever there talking to over face book lol.
Since i stated using face book its made me stop having as much conversations with people to there face.

I use facebook for exactly the same thing
